Call to Carry Condoms

In view of the rising number of women contracting HIV, every woman should carry a condom with her for her own protection, said Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad.
“This is not to debase them but to protect them. Women are the first ones to get exploited by their partners. But this is just a suggestion, it’s up to them,” he told the press after delivering his speech at the International AIDS Memorial Day here yesterday.
It was the first time that the International AIDS Memorial Day was celebrated openly in Malaysia. The celebration was attended by about 1,000 people.
According to Health Ministry figures, 745 women contracted HIV last year. It is a slight dip compared to 2006 (875), but the general trend is that the numbers are on the rise.
As for AIDS cases, 193 women were diagnosed with the syndrome, and 131 women died from it, while in 2006, 222 women were diagnosed positive and 80 died from it.
Malaysian AIDS Council president Prof Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman said apart from sex workers, many women who contracted HIV were housewives, infected unknowingly by their husbands who could be drug addicts.
“It’s not that people don’t know that condoms can protect them. But there are some men who do not care to take the precaution even though they know they have HIV.”
The figures also showed that last year alone, three people died of AIDS each day in Malaysia.
By ethnicity breakdown, Malays recorded the highest number of HIV sufferers (58,267 in total), followed by Chinese (11,886), Indians (6,532) and foreigners (2,722).
“One reason why Malays are the highest (recorded) is because of our large population. But it’s also because of the high number of injecting drug users.
“I urge the Malay leaders and the Malay non-governmental organisations to come forward to champion this cause,” Dr Abdul Latiff said.

Nissan GT-R 35

Already widely acknowledged as one of the best handling and most powerful supercars ever, the new Nissan GT-R is designed to be driven fast and skilfully by just about anybody, over a variety of road conditions and in total confidence. It is also about everyday practicality, offering four seats and reasonable luggage space. Yet this winning combination is available from just RM700k above. At this price there is nothing to match it in terms of performance and dynamic ability.
At the heart of the GT-R is one of the most advanced four-wheel drive systems ever developed in a production car, offering unmatched traction and handling security. In a world-first, it features a rear mounted independent transaxle which packages the transmission, transfer case and rear differential in one compact assembly independently mounted on rubber bushes. Moving the transmission to the rear in this way gives the GT-R a superb weight balance, while enhancing front seat leg room.
The design uses special twin driveshafts, one of which takes the drive from the engine back to the transaxle, the other transferring drive forwards from the transaxle to the front wheels. The four-wheel drive system continually adjusts torque between front and rear based on dynamic demands and road conditions; in normal conditions 100 per cent of torque is directed to the rear axle, with up to 50 per cent of torque fed to the front wheels to improve traction when necessary.

Story of my WhiteGSR

All began in the year 2003, when i was doin my 1st year diploma, at that time im sharing a SLK 850(Small Little Kancil) with my elder sister. Later on, i found out that its very inconvenience to share the SLK 850 with my sis, so after i've done the calculation of my monthly income at that time, finally i got the figure and decided to get another SLK for my own. My income at that time only afford to get a SLK, but to my suprise my dad actually asked me to get a better car which he will support me in the financial issue. So we when to the shop to look for a 2nd car, my dad 1st suggested Proton Wira, but after my considerations, i decided to get a Proton Satria which is a Hatch Back Version of Proton Wira. After all the documentations, road tax, insurance, deposit, loan are done i finally can bring the Proton Satria back home.

The Proton Satria are 1.3(m) and completely 100% stock standard. So in the 1st week, I've added a Sony normal playable CD player into the car so that I can play my favourite CDs while I'm driving. Next I've changed the steering wheel to a smaller and sporty looks which I found it very comfortable to use and I've used it for almost 2 years ++. After a few weeks time, I actually went to a Bodykits Shop (RABK) to look for a new clothes for the car. At first, I asked for a custom made kits, so the boss recommended and finally decided to get somthing like Skyline Front Bumper, Type R Skirt with custom made Arch, and a huge custom made Back Bumper that connects to the Back Arch *sooooo Beng *sigh
So I went back home with those New Beng Look *confuse
After a week time waiting for the suitable time to repaint my whole car, finally i decided to change the clothes to more decent looks. I've changed the front to Honda EG bumper with the lips and the skirts and back still remain untouch. At the same day, I also decided to changed the back spoiler to a custome made Honda EK Type R Spoiler and also a pair of custom made Ganador side mirrors. Now the car is Super Beng *hahaha
After sometimes, I've sent my car to the workshop to repaint the whole machine. At that time, I was thinking dunno what colour should i choose, original colour on the paper are solid white, some people told me it's quite a trouble to change colour on the paper, so my final decision is still white but add on some pearl = Pearl White. The whole progress took about 3 weeks time and cost me 1.8k
After the painting done, I actually went to the exhaust shop (Beng San) to change exhaust to the bassy type exhaust * vroom vroomm vrooommm *haha noob beng
At that time the car is fitted with heavily kits with stock 13 inch rims and super bassy exhaust. After got teased by frens about the rims, I went to tyre shop beside my house to look for a pair of new shoes, ended up I got a 2nd 15 inch Kspeed SSR Type C with 195/50/R15 tyre. Once I got dissapointed by my fren when his Kelisa 1.0cc overtook me and by that time I got the thought that I need to to something with my car. The next day I went to a workshop (MaxAuto) to ask for engine conversion. I actually quoted for 4G93T GSR but the boss suggested 4G91 because at that time 1.3cc to 1.8cc is abit hard to approves. The boss actually told me to convert 4G91 1st then go inspection then approves already he will convert to 4G93T using the 4g91 ID.......risky* So after sometimes, I decided to direct convert to 4G93T which that time got lubang to get approved. In a month time, my car is ready with a new better heart than previous. At that time, my car was fitted with frontmount VR4 intercooler with custom made intercooler pipping, analog HKS I turbo timer, 2.5 inch Kakimotor muffler with 2.5 inch straight pipping from front till end and a cheapskates BOV...haha
So that time is my 1st time to drive a turbo engine car, feel so excited but very noob in driving turbo, ramp here ramp there, with the blow off sound following and tyre keep spinning hahaha......so bengzzzz. After sometime, the heat excitement had gone down, my car actually had a few accident, only minor at 1st then sekali total lost it (end story)
1st I make an illegal U-turn, one bike bang to my side front door, end up I compensated him and repair my owns
2nd my fren bang my ass, which the whole custom ass is gone (Im glad he bang me haha) I've changed back to Ori Ass with a simple lip (happy not so beng anymore)
3rd a female driver bang my ass again when im goin down the slope in the shopping complex. End up she compensated me and also pay for my black hood and black spoiler LOLzzzz gotcha.
So by that time, Im quite happy with my car performances and the look. hmmmmm So the next thing I got is Apexi EL boost meter. Installed then I got myself a 2nd HKS SSQV, sharper sound quite nice ok!!! So then, I was studying in KL that time, I always travel from penang to KL quite often with my car. Then when I was in Penang I found a seller which he's selling quite alot of thing and I only interested on 2 items, I bought a pair of Recaro SR3 Original from Mitsubishi Evo 3 and a set of Tein Adjustable Hi/Low Soft/Hard, both items cost me about 5k damn 5k!!! ok fine Installed happily!!! Then the nightmare came when I'm back in KL, someone actually break in my car, the retarded broke my driver side mirror took my Apexi boost meter then took off one of my intercooler pipping which my HKS SSQV attached on it, DAMN THOSE MOTHERFARKERZ, so that day I'm very down and luckily they never take my other stuff like my intercooler or my Recaro!!! the story havent end, after a few days, the motherfuckers actually return in silent, this time they took off my door lock DAMNNNNNNNNNN need to waste money again fuck fuck fuck!!!! So in my mind, I think the motherfuckers gonna return again with a key that will start my engine, so without any hesitation after I fix up my car, I drove my car back to my hometown Penang *sigh
After the sad story, I got new thing for my car again. This time I send my shoes for painting!! I painted my shoes bronze gold!!! White Car with Black Hood and Black Spoiler and with Bronze Gold Shoes *Drool haha
Exterior are done, now we move to interior, nothing much, got double layer of tint, titanum with black, hardly can see thru actually!! hehe
Then rewrap my interior roof and the 6 poles with black and I changed my front panel door trim to mivec black color also, I custom paint the back panel to black as well, the dashboard is already in black color when I got it from the halfcut, so inside is just like All-Black haha..........to be continue

Nostalgia

Im in the condition of being homesick!!! Help... Help...
What should i do? Continue to stay in Singapore or pack my stuffs and move bck...
